What's the difference between "miscellaneous" and "general discussion"

Miscellaneous is where you post random stuff that doesn't fit into any other forum.

General Discussion is an old forum from the previous incarnation of the boards that essentially evolved into its own subculture and is very much its own distinct thing that has little to do with the rest of the forums (or sometimes LoL in general). Enter at your own risk.

Do general discussion threads show up in the "boards home" tab like everything else does? Or can you only see general discussion threads if you go into that board using the clicker on the left?

GD threads do not show up in the Boards Home. You have to go to the subforum itself to see what they're up to.
