I'm starting over.
I don't consider myself mean or rude to other players, generally. But I'm not perfect, and I have moments where I do make a smart remark to people when they ruin my mood, intentionally or not. I'll say things like "6 vs. 4 too strong," or "Our Jinx is the best player on your team."
And while it may be true, none of it is necessary or right. It gets a chuckle from some people, but it's at the expense of whoever happens to be the butt of the joke. It's not a worthwhile trade.
So for anybody I've offended by making remarks about you, when all you've been trying to do is play League and have fun like me, I'm sorry. I hate when people make those comments towards me, and I know you feel the same.
I want to make League's community a better place, and the least I can do is try to set an example by being encouraging and positive, even when there are trolls and I want to make a snide comment, or when a teammate is feeding, or when we have a disconnect or an AFK. Because realistically, in those situations, when something is going absolutely wrong, that's when positivity and a boost in morale is needed most.
That said, I'm starting over. I'll be working hard and holding my tongue so that not only can I further enjoy the game, but to help other people having a bad game to enjoy it a little more as well. I encourage you all to do the same.
