is it me or is the new client slow af?

Its shitty. I've kinda adapted over last 2 months, but with new patch, client closes for the game duration. Restarting takes about a minute, and that's bullshit. I switched back to old client because of that.

I realy don't know how you can build up client from scratch to be so slow. I know that my pc is pretty old, especially it seem to has problems with specific light settings. which maybe used in new client. But otherwise, its like totally fine. And i don't need client shutdown after the game.

It's clunky af. But it seems to be doing OK for the most part. Then there are times that it just freezes drops its FPS to 1-5 and literally blocks you from picking. Rito : One step forward, 10 backwards TM .

Gonna miss the old client. The new one still does feel pretty clunky for me.

Once you turn on the low spec mode, most things are alright.

But there are 2 major problems, performance wise (as design wise I have a lot of problems but that's not what this thread is for), that is seriously annoying:

1. The initial start-up/launching takes ages.
2. The post-game lobby also takes ages to come out.

Riot please fix.

Try selecting the group by offline and group by mobile options in the friends list. Minimize both the groups and your client should run faster. (Also the solution to those black screen issues some of you have been having.)

it lags so hard in champ select for low teir machines that ill have to tankrealia every role, i cannot switch masteries / runes due to the lag and i can barely ban / pick.

Lagg + after match lobby IT TAKES 5 MINS TO LOAD Im not even fken kidding you. everyone typing and sht already and they leave and theres me still joining. Like no it isnt my fken computer I have republic of gamers so stfu. This new client is sht FIX IT. No ones fken satisfied.

even on low rez mode that they set us all on to help us render stuff easily, I have issues getting into and out of games. for instance, upon hitting the "accept" button, before i go to champ select screen, i get stuck on this black screen for about 10-20 seconds and even longer, before the client fully loads in and i see that im first ban and have 5 seconds to ban a champ before i get kicked. its horrible. i only play beta out of fear of not loading into champ select in time and getting banned for dodging bans when im not even really there. i have screen shots but no idea how to share them :/

If you have a connection that's slightly iffy, it utterly shits the bed and refuses to cooperate 90% of the time.

If often find it to be slower than a snail riding molasses for the first few days after a new patch
