Can we please have more depth in Muting players?

I mute a toxic teammate. They start spam pinging me.

I mute a toxic enemy. They start spamming emotes every time I make a small mistake.

As much as you can try, players can never completely escape toxicity via muting. It comes to the point that you have to blanket-mute sound effects or champion VOs.
