When Toxicity is Fun

Ha! Click bait'd! Sort of.

But in all seriousness, we all talk about toxicity as an inherently bad thing. We always hear it when it ruins your game, and I don't deny it; for your team it sucks and can make what was a kind of fun game into a terrible experience, and people start trolling...

But has anyone else seen some toxicity that made you laugh? Or am I the only one?

Also, just for those with more high-brow sensibilities, consider this your language warning. I don't get explicit, but does it really need to be said what the swears are? I'm sure we both could pick up on the clues available.

I'll share a few examples of what I mean. When I was first starting out in league, my champion was Teemo top (Hail Satan). Now, this was when my teammates were like... level 12-ish? So the person who's supposed to be duo top with me (because you probably shouldn't jungle unless you're like.. level 15 at least, or at least that was the case at the time), decided it would be a great idea to lock in Lee and jungle. He got executed by the camps. Twice.

But not to worry; we still won the game because I WRECKED top lane. It was Garen and Amumu. And, I seriously made it a point to go after this Amumu after he started getting pissed off enough to scream at me in all chat. It was hilarious! Every time he died, more and more meaningless swears just flooded through all chat. You know the kind, "I hope you choke on a %%%%" "No skill %%%% troll %%% %%%% who %%%% his %%%% and %%%% his %%%%. %%%%." You know, shit like that. By the end, he was as toxic as Chernobyl, and saltier than the Red Sea.

Another time, I was trying to learn ADC, so my friend supported me with Leona. The only ADCs available for free were Lucian and MF, both of which were really underpowered at the time, but Leona is 99% CC, and it was all good. I started getting fed enough to 1v2, this other bot lane was so bad. That's when the enemy Twitch typed that /all, and called me, and I quote, a "%%% swilling pirate hooker." -LOL

So, has anyone had stories like this? It's especially funny in unranked because you're all like... "Bruh, chill. This doesn't even matter, lol."

I should also point out that I'm not going to defend toxic behavior, and I will include the disclaimer that I reported them for how toxic they were... and continue to do so when someone does this. After all, they're probably tilting and could use a few days off from League.
