Lore Question: Lulu and Veigar

It says that they're friends, but there is nothing in either lores mentioning the other. I'm just a little confused, is all.

I've searched around and couldn't really find anything about how they became friends or... how it even works. Mainly, to me, I just imagine Lulu bugging Veigar a lot while he yells at her, but, being Lulu, she doesn't listen and still tries to be his friend or something.

Are there actually lore type resources where this is explained? Or am I just.... looking into this too much?

Well, their friendship is wholly unafficial, as it was unplanned. However, following numerous players suggesting that the two be friends due to similarities, Riot changed their connections to reflect this popularity.

I posted a thread quite some time ago detailing why their friendship makes sense, though it is largely base on my own speculation.

To be fair, the relationship between them makes sense (as explained in the thread that A Superb Villain posted)

But in my personal opinion, i believe that Veigar may be interested in the powers that Lulu (and the glade) has. After all, he has mastered almost all the dark magics of Valoran... but he knows nothing about The Glade Magic. So... it would make sense if he wants to learn that magic from Lulu.

After all, the glade magic can increase his size. And imagine what would Veigar do if he learns that kind of magic... He would be able to turn everyone into dogs and rule the world or something like that(?).

Its a fan base thing that become popular enough to be 'canon'. Not really super-official canon, and theres no actual lore or anything about it, but close enough. But yeah, you have it right. The idea is that Lulu has a super crush on Veigar, and Veigar sees her as a pest that he tolerates better than other people.

several champion connections on the official site don't make sense,or at least don't make sense yet.

In many cases these relationships are stuff that will be explored later on,for example cassiopeia was listed as a rival of sivir and as an ally of xerath and renekton before she was even known to have any connection to shurima at all(and currently we still don't know why she would be an ally of renekton and xerath aside from the fact that she unknowingly freed them).
