Special thanks to Champion.gg, for providing me with the data I needed to make this happen!

A "Sleeper" is a champion who is very powerful, but not often played. I decided make a list of sleeper champions based on statistics, and after hours of work (I suck at Excel) this was the result.

The "Sleeper Value" is a number assigned to the champions based on their win rate, pick rate and ban rate. The higher the SV, the more sleeper a champion is. I feel that the formula used here gives the best result, taking into account both how strong a champion is and how much they are played.

The Sleeper Value Formula;

((WR/(PR+BR))*WR^(100/3))*10^10, where WR is win rate, PR is pick rate and BR is ban rate.

Playing a sleeper champion gives you a few advantages:

  1. Your champion tends do to very well
  2. Your champion is unlikely to be banned or picked by someone else
  3. Enemies likely won't have experience playing against your champion

Note: Skarner (jungle) was removed from this analysis. His win rate was so insanely high this patch that no matter what formula I used, he would always have the #1 spot, despite obviously not being sleeper. Skarner's Sleeper Value was over 5000, more than 4 times the value of the next champion. Rather than working around such a massive outlier, I simply removed him.

Be sure to wake up the Rift!
