X ability plus poison damage deals 300 damage Base damage plus AP deals 200 damage.

X ability deals 300 damage but it takes a while for it to deal 300 damage. With enemy's health regen you'd probably only deal 270 damage. If they drink potions it only deals 200. Therefore making the 300 dmg non-existant. So X ability is weak.

Seeing as how that's not how math works, and potions are not a time travel device, your logic is flawed.
