Can a champion breed toxicity by itself?
I just had a battle where the Zed on my team trolled, got AFK by the first ten minutes and then returned, only to start intentionally feeding the enemy team. Ironically he asked in /all to report me and called me a toxic, even though he did all those things I described. The reason why he did that? Because I banned
, his favorite champion.
I banned Yasuo because I just got tired of facing this champion, either on the enemy team or on my team. I am just tired of playing a game with this champion that not only has an overloaded kit and is frustrating to play against, but is also incredibly popular, and has a toxic playerbase. I even explained that on the champion select chat. He got mad because I said all those things, and started to intentionally feed and call me a toxic.
This led me to think, can a champion breed toxicity by itself? Either because of its kit, its themes, or because of both. I am asking that because there are some champions that have really toxic playerbases. For example, on my server,
has an incredibly toxic playerbase. All Draven players are known for spamming "RX" on the /all chat and saying "gg ez" at the end of battle, they act as if they "incarnated" Draven. Thankfully, Draven is not nearly as popular as Yasuo. And besides the fact that he can snowball easily, Draven is not nearly as frustrating to play against.
is also known on NA to have a toxic playerbase.
I am sorry if this is not the place to ask this, but I decided to post there because it has somewhat to do with balance, since Yasuo recently has started to be the target of balance issues and complaints. On my opinion, Yasuo is still balanced. He is even easy to counter. The problem is not that Yasuo is not balanced or should be nerfed. The problem is his toxic playerbase and the fact that he is still an overloaded champion.
These guys are pretty toxic
that wasn't toxic in some way, so maybe your theory is true in some cases.
