Riot, this is out of control

You can't just assume that when someone gets reported that they're automatically committing a crime.

I was playing against a team of 5 trolls who were viciously insulting us throughout the game - our loss was welcomed by a "gg ez" as per usual by their kinds of players. Heimerdinger dropped really nasty racial slang. I shared with Vayne, saying that maybe people like her were the reason the community of League has such a bad reputation. She said, "No u" and then proceeded to stomp us.

Now, that's not the biggest part.

Riot, you told me that I did something wrong.

By me getting reported 5 times, you said that I am doing something wrong. You have accused me of being in the wrong, and saying that by trying to be polite about something like that. But your popup INSISTED that I am wrong and that I AM definitely a toxic player.

Riot, this is unacceptable. The other team relentlessly harassed us all game with rude and awful remarks, yet I'M the one in the wrong? Fix your system - I don't want to be called out for things like this.

That message is an automated message that shows up when your account has recently received a spike in reports. That's all it is. It doesn't necessarily mean that you did anything wrong at all, nor does it necessarily mean that you will be punished anytime soon. Like Valkyrie Witch said, Riot created this notification so that players who really are being toxic know when they get reported so they can fix their behavior before they get punished. However, if you know with absolute certainty that you haven't done anything wrong, then you don't need to worry about it.

You just claimed there's something faulty with Riot, then went in detail about how it's not Riot but toxic players... What exactly do you think Riot could possibly do to stop them from reporting you? That's right; there is literally nothing they could do. [Edit: Players who abuse the report function eventually have no power in their reports, and may face restrictions for harassment]

Do you want to know what can be done? If you get false reports that result in a punishment, you can easily contest it by sending in a support ticket. Those who were harassing you also face penalties for doing so.

Or on the forums you can just accuse Riot of wronging you, and you'll still have your problem.
