What the crap Riot.

Is there really going to be no Harrowing event for the actual game? No challenges to complete or neato icons to unlock, no lore-based game mode, nothing in the client at all? Don't get me wrong, I like the story you're putting up, but it's really just looking like a shallow promotional campaign for the next suspected champ release. I was really expecting the Bilgewater event to be a better indicator of the quality League's community could expect for story events in the future, and Harrowing of all things I thought would really be an occasion to raise the bar. Heck, it's so far been an annual event with its own name, and a very exciting story element at that. Just kind of disappointing considering that I've been looking forward to this since the end of Burning Tides.

First: no, there will be no in game event as far as we know (at least not like last year with Hexakill). They are specifically separating story from in game events so that they can be free to tell a story whenever they want (not that sometimes they won't line up still) Second: There will be skins: Slayer Jinx and Pantheon, and Zombie Nunu, as well as a Slayer Panth and a zombie icon

no its all about Esports and competitive play. They don't have time to worry about the casual players enjoyment. Sellout of a company.

Then you obviously don't understand how Riot does things.

I think it is kinda odd that they don't even let the butchers bridge return. I mean with this years harrowing playing in bilgewater it would have made perfect sense to at least let the butchers bridge return for the harrowing.
