@Riot, how hard would it be to put up a few Christmas decorations in Howling Abyss?
Wreaths, A Tree at either end, some Holly, Tinsel, etc.
Technically we already have a Winter Map - a few decorations would easily make it a Christmas map.

Probably months, to years of testing. its kind of sad, but understandable. When you program something into the game its not always so simple. Its not like they can write something and bam its need. It needs testing (what PBE is for) and doesnt always catch all the bugs/glitches. So you dont know what adding something might do in the game per say, or the champions, items, skills within the game.
But honestly its a shame they are rarely doing anything. Yes the minions are nice to dress up, but its sad when you see years before where they changed the Summoners Rifts to represent the seasons of the year, to this year (and last) where its nothing but just minions changing, and Baron wearing a Santa hat. They can do so much more. heck they updated the Summoners rift just for this, and they arent taking advantage of it!
Just gotta hope next year will be different!
