Warding as a Support

So. I'm just a low-tier silver support main, but I've had some frustrating experiences with supports on the rare occasion of playing ADC that I'd like to say something about. I understand that in normal's some people play for fun and try out-of-meta things, but for those like myself who like to improve their gameplay having a support who plays like a mid lane carry can be an issue. If you don't buy Sightstone and instead ask team to upgrade trinkets or buy individual wards, that's your choice (Sightstone is more cost-efficient but in some cases you need an extra item slot for more utility, ap scaling, etc.) but building Ludens, Rabadons, Mejai's, and taking all the cs and intentionally ks'ing isn't the way to go. Building large amounts of ap for heal/shield strength and some extra damage is completely viable but simply spending 250 gold on an upgraded trinket and getting some gold income items you can get to the same point as you would with the other path but without making your team flame hate and report you and without hurting your ADC's dmg output. In summary, supports, please don't start Doran's ring and then rush Mejai's into Rabadons and Ludens, take all the cs, never ward and ks. Sometimes doing this makes you scale better and get your items faster as well.

I know this may sound stupid but if someone doesn't wanna support sometimes it's best to play along instead of fighting it..

I know I know " Sounds dumb, stay in bronze pleb"

But hear me out. If your support just won't cooperate perhaps as an adc, you can buy a gold item and go into botlane.

I have specific mysteries for this occasion I have a support who doesn't want to support.. it's common in bronze..

when this happens.. I trade out my 2 attack speed quints for 2 gold Quints. and I take a 11/9/10 masteries. for gold income having some defense and as well as SOME damage..

Doesn't hurt to get an item 3093 early and hold onto it. Little thing can pay for itself and more in time..

damage will be severely decreased but you have to then remember Your "botlane mage"will now too be doing damage so in the end it kind of evens out? Now if you manage to do well in lane you will still be earning enough gold to perhaps sustain your ADC build path. Or at least a cheaper one like instead of IE first get bork.. or see how much you are earning and play it by that..

Towards mid game laning ends.. this is your chance to catch up in much needed CS. Hopefully you can convince your team to upgrade trinkets.. if not your tinket and an occasional pink ward might keep some vision on the map..

I know this doesn't justify what they're doing but sometimes it's adapt or fall further behind.. Sometimes it may work sometimes not.. but both of you taking CS means you both fall behind this way the the bot lane mage can do damage and sustain that damage though out the game, and sometimes they may be the reason you win the game..

I had a bottom lane mage lux and they carried HARD, so sometimes it's not a waste they just wanna go what they're good at..

There is difference between support and duo bot laner thats not planning to support. If your duo laner wants to farm, and build how he wants, its his choice. You have no right to flame him or report him for that. Support ADC bot is just meta, not rule. If guy stated that he is support, then he should support, if he is just going bot, but not as support, hey... who are we to judge him?
