I've noticed out of thousands of games on here nobody really honors people after the game, even though they did a really good job at helping or staying positive even though things weren't going to well.
So does anyone honor people anymore or do people take it as a joke now. Just curious, I don't mind much. But it would be nice to know.. Since it rarely happens.
Edit: This just doesn't go for me, but I'm sure many others as well.
I honor but rarely. You have to be above and beyond for me to do so. I think the lack of incentive hurts the intrusive but I do not have the data to confirm that.
Last game I helped my jungler (tanking the camps from bot side) who reconected after 10 minutes, helped my top laner a lot, saving him 2 times in early and keeping the enemy minions away from his tower...I gave my mid laner some kills, I secured a dragon, I made just good calls...the guys said "thanks", "you are a great support", " I love you dude"...I expected to see at least 2-3 honors but..guess what? Just 1 honor xD and I honored 2 of them :) It was a great game, even if we played 4v5 in first 10 minutes and others waited just for 20 minute mark to surrender...but we made a comeback. I don't know what's happening, but I saw this too, that people didnd't honor as they used to honor...I remember I reached 200x Great teammate very fast and I had all of the honor crests in season 5. I can't explain what happened to people. I also honor the people that really did great but I don't say that or ask for honor in return. Just honor them and maybe add them as friends too so I can play later with them.
Honor is basically a joke in this game. Not to your allies. Not your enemies.
Simple: No one thinks you deserve any honor, especially if you're on the losing team.
