why am I getting put with players much higher rank than me?

heres the ranks of the players I just played with and as you can see they were all much better than me :/

because matchmaking is based off of MMR not ELO or league

Ranked and normals have their own mmr, either way, match making in normals suck. Sometimes I get a bronze 5 on my team against a team of plats/diamonds and they do poorly. I also tried playing with a level 24 and 21 friends who weren't smurfs and decided to give us a team of 4 Diamonds, because obviously my new friends clearly had high normal mmr.

I played with a challenger last night, just proves how broken this game is. Im bronze 1, we won of course but it wasn't that fair for the other team either... having a challenger on our side who wasn't even a beast like we thought and everyone said it too. I call this Luck Based Matchmaking! Sometimes you get really good player or you get really bad players, rare to find a fair match now a days.
