I thought LoL was a game that had lore not just for laughs, they could at least make an prologue of something better to come. Yes I know the animation is very costly but 5 minutes fight has about the same production costs as 30 minutes lore interactions and dialogues. Riot pls answer seriously, do you make videos like these for the majority of people who find lore boring?
I thought it was just fine - I thought the attempt to sell it as some kind of in depth look at the characters in the behind the scenes was kind of a load of BS, but as far as it simply being a cool combat cinematic I have no problem with that. I happen to like cool combat cinematics.
Agreed, i'd appreciate some more lore into that.
There are no dialogues because LoL is a world wide game and it was meant to be for everyone. I think that they did a pretty good job at catching everyone's personality with just expressions and movements.
Honestly, a cinematic is called a CINEMATIC for a reason. Cinematics have always been supposed to be just eye candy.
