New Minimap Option?

Back in the day I remember playing Diablo II and always leaving the map on the screen, that simitransparent map that could cover the whole screen if you had already been through the area. It never bothered me or obstructed my focus.

Could this work in league? If not just the option to move the map to a different corner would be nice. I think I would like top right.
