Remember when viktor mains thought riot was going to butcher viktors lore?

Zaun+piltover event was happening-> viktor mains being mad after reading the inital piltover lore-> people hating on riot and saying they cant write and are going to ruin their characters->riot finally finishing the event and releasing the viktor lore and everyone loving it and riot proving them wrong->people who bitched about it being quiet besides the people thanking riot (good on that part of the community)

now instead of viktor realize the same cycle is happening with Ahri and the introduction of Vestaya

people genuinly think they are gonna ruin who she was (which tbh there wasnt a lot or enough story of who she was imo)

so please realize that in terms of gameplay and maybe lcs riot arent perfect BUT skin quality and character stories they havent missed a beat (burning tides, Mordekaisar bio, AZIR) so please ahri mains and mains in general

kindly just leave simple criticism and fuck off and keep Charming <3

I don't get why people complain so early at times. I rather wait to see more of the story before giving my thoughts about it.

Cute comic, I feel like the first panel and second panel should be switched though!

Appreciating a story is based on perspective. That said, new Viktor lore is particularly uninspiring.

He's no longer a human crushed by emotions and forced to go robot. Instead, he's a robotic human who never changed his ideology. What was he, again? Depressed for a couple weeks? :P Butchering VIktor's lore? There wasn't much lore in there, to butcher. What Riot did was homogenise it. I find stuff like that much more creatively insulting.

His history was much more complex in his old paragraph. And it's a shame we lost it to 'Viktor does charity and/or kills people with minimal prompting. He was expelled from university. Look!! It's about perspectives!!?'

There's a whole bunch of people on the forums that can write more enthralling stories than the lore team, right now. This is probably a HUGE contributing factor to some peeps voicing their opinions against things like Galio, Vestaya, etc, etc. Also, Riot's marketing at younger and younger audiences, too - and that's likely another big problem for long-term players.

Personally, I don't read the lore at all anymore. Feels empty. Lazy? I dunno. But it doesn't have depth nor novelty. And I like depth and novelty.
