hes just generaly strong outside his ult at lategame with his sheild it makes your survivabilty CRAZY HIGH i cant tell you how many times ive played galio almost died and used my sheild under the inhib turret and got almost full hp

The new masteries allow Anivia to throw out a full Q + E combo (or R + E combo) every 20 seconds. Of course, the Doran's Ring helps a bit too.

It went from every 4.8 seconds to every 4.4 seconds. Sure that's a big buff, but how long do you think annivia's cooldowns are? Nothing is even close to 20 seconds except her wall (w). R + E went from 3 seconds to 2.75. Her q is only a 12-8 second cooldown (4.8 with 40% cdr), and e is only 5 seconds (3 with 40% cdr).
