Why don't Yordles have whiskers?

I mean, like, they got cat eyes man. And fur and ears and stuff.

Why don't they have whiskers, man.

Dude also I'm seeing that new artworks of the female yordles show that they actually do have fur on their faces, it's just really fine. So do they somehow trim it or just it just grow that way like beards and crap on humans? I believe it would just grow that way.

Alright, but what about the noses? Some are more human while males are more animal-like.

Or like why do male Yordles have ears closer to the top of their heads while females have years closer to their necks?

Why doesn't Ziggs have lips? How is he able to form words, man. Bomb would be really hard to say without lips. I mean, I get that it's more of a cartoonish characteristic especially with his primary design being a happy bomber having finally found his purpose or at least a place he can belong next to his heroes. But we can see all of his teeth, man. All of them.

Did Kled sharpen his teeth or do Yordles change according to their temperment/moral standing? Kind of like how the dark side affects force-sensitive people by changing their eyes and skin and shit. You know, to visually better display the personality of the individual.

Is Veigar's fur black? I feel like that would be adorable. Or again, his appearance changing to match his temperment/dark magics/whatever. I like that idea.

Why aren't Heimer's ears as furry as other male Yordles? It it because of age? Just something that happens to some Yordles as they grow old? Why aren't Kled's ears almost bald?

Rumble's fur is much more streamline to his skull it seems, revealing more of a snout than just a normal mouth. Kled's and Zigg's mouths are more rounded and the snout isn't seen on any of the female Yordles. There's Gnar, though.

Yordle anatomy is all over the place. Even with the new stuff.

Nature sure is a mystery.

I think any differences in fur for males is personal aesthetic, no clue about the rest though.

Two things.

One, whiskers would only be an evolutionary adaptation if they were needed. Their purposes lay in giving you sensory data just a little ahead of your head. Rodents and felines have them for a few reasons, but there is one major one. For both, it's because they can fit into amazingly tight spaces and operate in low-light/dark areas. Those whiskers let them know what's (almost) directly ahead of them, much like how you run your hand along a wall when you walk through a dark hallway.

Secondly, yordles are weird. Their original lore was that they were are aliens that came to Runeterra on a giant spaceship. Legit, no lies, that's what it is. And it still may be canon, we don't know, cause the Foundations Team or whatever they've decided to call themselves this year never want to set down any hard info. Like a map. There's no map of Runeterra, because that would lock in their writers to sticking to that. Yes, I've shanghai'd the thread to give a Lore rant. Anyway, yordles are weird.

Yordles are unique amongst themselves, even before the story retcon:

Gnar may or may not be related to them. Veigar actually looks like a black cat, like, that's what his model was. Corki doesn't have fur. He is the least yordle looking yordle. Tristana hasn't always been a yordle, she was originally of a race called meglings. This was later switched into being the name of the yordle soldiers that wield cannons like she does. This is why Yordles have sexual dimorphism as this change happened after her creation, but before the release of the next female yordle Poppy, almost a year later.

Yordles may be semi-immortal under current lore. The only ones that have been truly touched since the Great Retcon are Poppy and Kled, and both have points in their given info that they've just kinda... always been doing what they've been doing. If not immortal, very long lived.

So uhhh, Yordles don't have whiskers cause they didn't need them, or shave them down, and because they're weird.
