Patch 7.3 was Great, What Can we Expect Next?
I'm going to be honest, I was about to straight up quit League. It was starting to get a bit stale for me, and with how much I hated this season I just stopped playing until this patch came game. Well, the patch is here and it seems pretty good. With nerfs to problem champions and a new game mode coming out, League feels like it's recovering after that misstep with the pre-season. But what else are we getting?
Is Riot looking into:
- Damage?
- Lethality?
- Nerfing more problem champs?
- Buffing weaker champs?
- Finding changes to really annoying/unfun champions?
And most important for me, is the process for balancing going to change? It feels like a lot of problems nowadays are caused either by Riot not directly nerfing/buffing problem champions, items, abilities, etc. or just being biased around pro play (RIP Shen). I hope Riot's balance team starts taking a more direct approach to game changes instead of screwing the game over by trying to buff one champion, and end up buffing everyone. I feel that they should balance around high ELO too, such as Platinum and Diamond, but not around LCS. I keep saying it, but balancing the game around watching pro play can lead to bad decisions. And as much as I hate to say it, if Riot continues this "problem trend" of balancing, I might stop playing again.
Anyways, great patch so far and I hope League recovers further and becomes much more fun. Just, try balancing around plat/diamond for a patch, kay?

OK, I just read the patch notes from http://www.surrenderat20.net/2017/02/28-pbe-update.html and my god this is beautiful. Everything we needed is here! Less damage and snowball is a step in the right direction.
