So I get a bug splat and can't reconnect to game so I get a leaver ban?

after attempting to load a ranked 3s game on the twisted treeline map, I got too 6% load and received this error: An essential game asset was not found when loading the game TT_OrderTurret5 I tried many to reconnect and was unable to as it crashed every time I tried to load the game. The problem I have with this is, you are punishing me for something I couldn't control and didn't do on purpose... its like sending an innocent man to prison for murder. You are punishing the innocent Riot.

Who has control over the files on your computer? Is it Riot? Is it the other players in the game you couldn't connect to? Or is it you?

Regardless, you don't get bans for a single leave. And I don't think I've heard of anyone getting an LPQ for a single leave, either.

I disagree. I think it's more akin to punishing a negligent man for negligence.

considering riot is in charge of the patcher that installs my league that failed to install it properly it is their fault. Its like me going and buying a car and they didnt install breaks in it and i pull out of the dealer ship and crash.

Also Its been about 2 months since i left a game, and I average 3-5 games a day soooo

While it's not possible to know that this wasn't somehow Riot's fault, typically when they have majorly broken something in their client there are a massive number of people reporting the same issue all over the Internet.

There are a lot of things that can cause client-side file corruption, and very few of them are things that are reasonably within Riot's control. The stability of your own computer is your responsibility. If you want help diagnosing what is wrong, try the Help+Support forum.

Ive had problems trying to get into my games sometimes, but never was hit with a LPQ. either this is happening more than once, or you arent telling us the whole story.

It was a ranked game, do they punish them harder? I honestly never intentionally AFK, partly because I play so much league I never go into games that I know I can't finish.

I mean i would think they punished Rank games differently than normals (or any other mode for that matter) but i highly doubt its from one game. plus i think Rank leavers dont usually get LPQ if anything they would get Rank restriction first then get hit with a LPQ!

I'v never gotten a ranked restriction before... I never even knew they gave those out i was also AFK for the whole game, as I was never able to connect, so could that affect it too??
