Can we stop banning new champions your teammates are hovering in normal draft?

Seriously though, I was just in a lobby, hovering first pick Kayn, I need just 1 more game on Shadow Assassin for the icon, and our support bans him. Why? I don't know! It's normal draft. The point of normals is to practice new champions and the point of playing draft instead of blind, at least for me, is so I get to select roles. So please, stop banning my champion. Usually I don't care, but then the entire team (which I was solo) starts going "yeah you did good Kayns feed every game ban him out good job man." BUT THAT'S THE POINT OF NORMALS IS TO PRACTICE AND HAVE FUN, NOT TO BE GOOD!!!
