Do you even have half a brain? If you can't commit to the team from the moment you got into champion select through the nexus blowing up, you deserve to be banned/Leaver Busted and should not earn IP. Please stop asking this, if you have to go, GO!

Furthermore, I really think Riot should start banning people who are purposely idling in the fountain just to earn their IP. If you're sick of the team, fine, rage quit the match. But don't sit around trying to get the IP (and XP if you're < Level 30) that you don't deserve.

It's one thing to have an emergency pop out of nowhere, forcing you to leave. It's another if you have the time to play, but decide you want to be a jerk.

Suggested Penalties for Idling the fountain (14 day window)

1st offense: warning 2nd offense: 3 hour ban 3rd offense: 1 day ban 4th offense: 7 day ban

But what if X Y and Z happen in 14 days? I get banned for 7 days?! No, those are suggested penalties for idling the fountain. If you have to leave, disconnect from the match and take the LeaverBuster penalties like a man. Everyone is forced to leave once in a while. However, it's a different story when you're sitting in spawn and basically cheating for IP.

Rito please consider.

I completely agree with you. I really hope Riot has 2 LeaverBuster report options. One for regular disconnections and another for idling the fountain. The idling the fountain is just being a complete jerk and should be punished harshly.

People idling at the fountain are treated the same as people who rage quit. I don't see why they would be treated differently. They are doing the exact same thing and have the same impact, why would you punish someone who tabbed out differently than someone who closed the game?

You are right, however it's very difficult to detect a rage quit. While I want to assume that a disconnect after a failed surrender, or after a 5th death in an 0/5 start to a game is a rage quit, you can't be 100 or even 75% sure.

Someone who tabs out: Means they CAN still play but decide not to and still earn undeserved IP/XP Exiting the game: No IP/XP rewaded, better chance of LeaverBuster penalties, sometimes they actually have to leave

The reason for leaving isn't even considered. Individual afks aren't punished only having an unacceptable rate of leaving games. So basically its built in that everyone is going to have a small amount of uncontrollable issues. If someone wants to use up those passes being an ass then so be it. These are the same people that come to the forums and cry that they get punished for their power going out when really they were punished because they used up all their chances on stupid bullshit so when they needed one they didn't have it.

The IP/XP rewards from 1 game are so insignificant and even more so considering that its almost guaranteed to be a loss. If they are doing this with any kind of frequency then they are going to have their low priority queue timer stacking up.

If you treated people tabbing out more harshly the only thing that would change is they would close the game instead of tab out.

A couple of days ago I got into a game where our Ekko mid DC'd before Minions even spawned because "he forgot he had work at 4 in the morning" (I was playing at 01:00). Luckily the enemy Kalista didn't connect until 20 minutes in, so we won. In the ARAM I played as a warmup just before 2 people on my team wanted to surrender because "their wife was sick". If your wife is so sick that you have to attend to her, why the hell are you playing games you know you can't just leave? And why were both their wives sick at the same time?

There's still cases that this could endanger innocent people. Like some agree to afk at base and let them push because you have 2 trolls in your team who won't surrender and muck around..

I just afk, I have no patience for idiots who prolong a losing game, i have 25 accounts, i just log off and get on another one.

your kind shall perish. This is why people out there have bad games because people like you simply don't care since you have millions of account. I just hope that riot will figure out how to track down if a person have multiple accounts and banned them all instantly once an account got a ban.

First off making smurfs and alt accounts is not against TOS nor is it a ban worthy. Second of all... Why would I waste 20 + minutes on top of the 20 minutes already wasted when i have afks on my team or people going 0-10 in first 10 minutes? I see it all the time 3 people want to forfeit and the two worst players on the team feeding say no and prolong the game another 20 minutes and we still end up losing.

You are the reason people are toxic and hate this game, not the other way around. If there is a chance to win yes... when its 20 minutes in, the score is 34 to 3 and you have an afk? Fuck no.. and if you are the moron who types no when everyone says yes then you are what league players hate the most.

Maybe in ranked i'd make more of an effort but in normals hell no..

well just look at yourself here.. You don't care with other people. If the top laner goes 0/5, go help him out. No matter what score you have, take objectives and keep farming. Not all games are 'winnable' by only teamfights. Winning a game with scores like 12 - 5 are possible. You just basically gave up because your team is not doing good. "Oh he's feeding so I'm just gonna AFK and not help my team out and just let everyone lose". I don't think Riot will agree on your opinion nor the pro players in LCS.

Just play it out. You don't like the people here in the game because they feed and be toxic? Don't play anymore. Don't need to log in to League anymore. No one wants AFK players in league.

Even tho I met you in one of my matches and you afk, I'd still play. Its just that I will definitely report you after the game. And sucks to be you if I won the game anyways.

I don't care about reports. I know when a game can be won or not and if the game is to the point it can't be won based on on how players are playing, building and feeding then there is no point is spending more time just to lose anyways. So first off you could take your report and shove it, you think you get the last laugh cause you reported me but I get the last laugh because while you are spending 10+ 20+ 30+ minutes to lose the game you already lost i'm on my main winning with a team that cares. The worst part about this game is getting stuck in games with people like you that want to prolong a loss instead of just ffing so we can go our seperate ways and play a new game.. So ya i'll take a report any day over wasting time in a game i don't want to play anymore and if i get suspended or banned so what I get on one of my other many accounts or go play WoW, Dota 2 or HoTs.

You seem to think your report would have an effect on me and it really doesn't lol.
