Do you even have half a brain? If you can't commit to the team from the moment you got into champion select through the nexus blowing up, you deserve to be banned/Leaver Busted and should not earn IP. Please stop asking this, if you have to go, GO!

Furthermore, I really think Riot should start banning people who are purposely idling in the fountain just to earn their IP. If you're sick of the team, fine, rage quit the match. But don't sit around trying to get the IP (and XP if you're < Level 30) that you don't deserve.

It's one thing to have an emergency pop out of nowhere, forcing you to leave. It's another if you have the time to play, but decide you want to be a jerk.

Suggested Penalties for Idling the fountain (14 day window)

1st offense: warning 2nd offense: 3 hour ban 3rd offense: 1 day ban 4th offense: 7 day ban

But what if X Y and Z happen in 14 days? I get banned for 7 days?! No, those are suggested penalties for idling the fountain. If you have to leave, disconnect from the match and take the LeaverBuster penalties like a man. Everyone is forced to leave once in a while. However, it's a different story when you're sitting in spawn and basically cheating for IP.

Rito please consider.

I completely agree with you. I really hope Riot has 2 LeaverBuster report options. One for regular disconnections and another for idling the fountain. The idling the fountain is just being a complete jerk and should be punished harshly.

People idling at the fountain are treated the same as people who rage quit. I don't see why they would be treated differently. They are doing the exact same thing and have the same impact, why would you punish someone who tabbed out differently than someone who closed the game?

A couple of days ago I got into a game where our Ekko mid DC'd before Minions even spawned because "he forgot he had work at 4 in the morning" (I was playing at 01:00). Luckily the enemy Kalista didn't connect until 20 minutes in, so we won. In the ARAM I played as a warmup just before 2 people on my team wanted to surrender because "their wife was sick". If your wife is so sick that you have to attend to her, why the hell are you playing games you know you can't just leave? And why were both their wives sick at the same time?

There's still cases that this could endanger innocent people. Like some agree to afk at base and let them push because you have 2 trolls in your team who won't surrender and muck around..

I just afk, I have no patience for idiots who prolong a losing game, i have 25 accounts, i just log off and get on another one.
