Toxicity during Holidays/School Breaks

This community is always toxic. It's as simple as that. However I don't find games during school terms to be nearly as toxic. Every time school goes out for students, League is so unpleasantly toxic. Every game mode. Yes, including bots. I've always had a solid W-L record before school breaks, have it ruined during the break, get it back up to solid, and then have it ruined during another school break. Trolls are every where.

Every match I've played, the winning team is constantly talking in all chat, saying "ez", "you guys suck", "noobs need (2-5) to kill me", while the losing team is sitting around like "please report X for feeding", "worst team ever", etc.. You guys may be thinking, "That's just the League community, all the time, school out or not." Maybe I'm just lucky not to encounter this often, however from what I've experienced, there aren't nearly as many unsportsmanlike players during school times.

I've played most of the game modes during the Winter break for students, and here is what I've encountered.

Co-op vs AI: Raging over KS, Flaming to report for no reason **Ranked: **Every match is lopsided, basically the chat toxicity I talked about above, as well as intentional feeders and trolls **Normals: **Same as ranked Hide and Seek (Custom): Constant bickering over rules, insults thrown around, rage quits all over the place, "Zed is hiding in that bush", basically the entire game ruined. Legend of the Poro King: Yes, a featured game mode for fun. Raging and reporting over bad games/players. Intentional trolls.

There are even trolls sending troll reports to trigger warnings (which btw really need to be tweaked) to scare/annoy other players.

Every troll knows that "Offensive Language" warnings pop up on your screen every time someone reports you for it. So why not report everyone for offensive language right? Even when they did nothing wrong or their offense wasn't involving toxic chat.

So I got 3 warnings (all in the same day),

The 1st one, I played Master Yi Mid. In Champion Select, I got flamed for picking Yi mid, so before the game started, I muted everyone on both sides. I did not say a word in the game, and I destroyed their Yasuo mid, went 22-2-7, got a Pentakill and carried the team only to see an "Offensive Language" warning pop up on my screen. I know for a fact I did not say a word that match, since I had everyone muted (3 people flamed me for Yi mid in champ select).

2nd warning: Hide and seek - Our Rammus kept giving away our team's locations (hiders), so me and this Zed just decided to cap points since the game was basically ruined. I did not say anything toxic, however the Rammus said "Report Kha (me) for griefing." 2 seconds later, "You have been reported for offensive language, watch your behavior blah blah blah." Yeah, capping points in a ruined hide and seek game is totally offensive language.

3rd warning: Hide and seek - Seeker Amumu got upset at the items we were buying saying we were cheating, then said "I'm done with y'all," and they surrendered. Amumu said he reported everyone for "Cheating". 2 seconds later, offensive language warning.

You kidding right? We have trolls in every mode in the game, but that's bad enough. Really? Troll reports to scare people?

And the sad thing is, I've written down who was extremely toxic in my games, and none of them have been punished. O haven't received any Report Feedback messages, nor have any profiles been reset to 0 honors (which happens when a player is punished for toxicity).

Riot needs to wake up during the holidays or school breaks. I have not played enjoyed League during any school break at all, and it's been almost 2 years since I started League. The only reason I'm not quitting is because League becomes enjoyable again when school comes back for students. League is not nearly as toxic when school is going on.

And it would be my worst nightmare if it was true that you don't punish players who buy lots of RP. I've had multiple players say "I won't be punished cuz I've given rito a lot of money, and that's all they care about." Please prove them wrong.

I've played... 5 games that fall into winter break?

I had a Tristania get really huffy and try to ruin the jungle and play badly, but she quit it and we ended up winning the game.

That was it.

winter break means there is suddenly a huge amount of high school kids that have too much spare time so I have noticed it's worse than usual too

If they were reporting you for the wrong thing and you weren't using "offensive language" then nothing will happen to you. Why people think they can just false report someone when time and time again they have claimed that false reports get tossed away and the person whose been reporting falsely will get their reports counted for less.

Those were just warnings because people reported you. It doesn't mean you'll get punished especially if you did nothing wrong. Granted it does seem like a lot of "kids" come out during the holiday. But I think they are doing well, again if you did nothing wrong nothing will happen. If they did false report te person who handles reports will see especially if they are reporting you for thing like language and you aren't even typing anything.

Most of the time it can have an impact, but even when school is in session there plenty of people who will do the exact same thing you mentioned in your post.
