I think it should go higher than that personally. I played 24 games as maokai and now have a level 5 champion mastery :/ does riot have any plans for making it higher because I like the idea of champion mastery
redniwediS2 votesLevel 5 is just what they launched with so any bugs that come along with it should be easy to fix. They plan to add more ranks with rewards later down the road.

a lot of people enjoy the concept of champion mastery bc it makes it more rewarding to main a certain champion and it gives you more of a reason to... you could say its useless because it has no affect on the actual gameplay, but it's certainly not failing & most people would like more investment into it
