I have two free periods first, which I was gonna use for league, but now since the server is down I better just do Homework. Ugh. I hate being productive when I could be playing league....

Anyone else notice every other server from EU West to Oceania are up... NA you know. Home servers of Riot are the only ones still under maintenance....

Because last time some maintenance (well, the server upgrade) took longer than they thought, they kept having to push back the time, and people kept being mad each time they pushed back the time.

I'd guess the following:

They hope they'll have the servers up in, say, 1 hour.
If they tell people 3 or 4, people will get mad that it's taking so long.
- Even if it actually goes online after 1 hour.
As I said earlier, if they tell people it'll be 1 hour and then it takes 3-4, people will be mad.

Server status stated it started at 3AM PST and will last 6 hours. That would put it at 9AM PST or noon EST.

I thought it said it started at 1:30AM PST , which would have had them coming back on around 10:30 AM EST, regardless they've just posted an update saying they are still working on maintenance...

I tried to play a game as soon as the servers went up, but after champ select I went into immediate bugsplat. Can't reconnect after many repeated attempts.

Hope I don't get banned from this :/

This happens literally EVERY time there is a somewhat big patch. But for some reason it's ONLY the NA, and not any other servers, that require increased maintenance? Can someone tell me why this is? I honestly can't say I've EVER seen a time where other servers required increased maintenance besides NA. All the other servers went back online literally hours ago now.

Sad but way too true... NA players wait longer then literally every other player..... No logic and beyond frustrating to accidentally click on EU West and notice they are online at 10 am....

Literally opposite of what should be expected. Let all the other servers wait while you fix the ones here.....
