In your honest opinion, is this worth a 2 week ban? (with logs :) )

I mean, if you wanna give me a chat ban, go for it lol. But a 2 week ban? Seems a little minor for 2 week ban criteria. The first parts were me talking to my bud Naut from last game (vayne this one)...actually most of the logs were me talking to him. The other part is me telling Yi he shouldn't be calling me a feeder when he has 11 deaths to my 1 or 2 lol. I mean, if the other team wasn't talking back to me, I could see it being annoying lol...but they were more friendly than my team was with me lol. I don't know, let me know what ya think.

You had time to type that much?

Seriously, I can see that you did go over the line several times in your comments. You also were rather open in taunting the Master Yi player, so if he did decide to report you, there was evidence of a negative attitude and some verbal abuse.

My question would be was this the only game, or were there others? Also did the enemy team report you or were they the type to laugh about your comments? Both would have an effect. If the enemy team felt you got annoying or went on too long those reports, plus the ones from your own team would likely have attracted additional scrutiny.

You only have a single game's chat log, but from what you posted, you do have an negative attitude and a unfortunate tendency to resort to a bit of abuse. Here are a few examples.

  1. Riot has published guidelines that say asking for a player to be reported is reportable. Here you point at Yi and again you are quite negative toward a teammate

Basically you ran into the old axiom, one that I suggest you try to live when playing LoL. "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything." You entered the room predicting problems and even told the enemy team that your teams always include trolls and then you went out of your way to prove it. You even dragged the other team into the trolling by talking in All-chat.

Personally I wouldn't have reported you, because I find this kind of trolling to be pathetic. I would have just shook my head and if I was on the enemy team worked to crush you quickly as your attitude had to have been dragging your own team down. And since I don't speak much in game, I would have been very unlikely to wind up being attacked by you. I find that chat is useful for things like. "Drag in 1 min", but I don't try to chat during a fight.

If you are this way often, I can understand the ban. You aren't using racist or sexist insults, but the flow of negative comments you made is bound to irritate and annoy your team, so reports would flow even if you don't curse. Its unfortunate, but I have to say that Riot probably is correct in making the decision to give you a short break from LoL.

It takes more than 1 game to get a ban. That game alone probably wouldn't be enough, but who knows the rest of your games. Judging by the way you act on here, I wouldn't be surprised if there was much worse in your other games' history.

I would recommend typing about 1/16th of what you are currently typing in game. Communicate with pings and keep typing for saying things like "good job" or "drag in 1 minute get ready"

I can't say what punishment would be appropriate for this - that depends strongly on your history with the system and the other games in the case. But I can say this: If I had seen this game in the Tribunal, I would have chosen to Punish it.
