Please, please, let players gift content they've purchased with IP.

I have seen a lot of posts over the years complaining about the IP costs of champs and runes, especially for new players.

We have this great gifting system.

I have 22k IP.

Please let me share this IP with new players. There have been so many times where I would've loved to gift someone a 6300 unlock for being a great player in a game, or someone has mentioned they're saving up for something and it would be a great way both to help combat the IP costs for a purely non-RP player and it would also allow those of us who have ridiculous amounts of IP to do something with them aside from stockpile (I literally own every champ, max rune pages, and own every single t3 rune available...)

I've had this thought before but I thought I'd post it on the boards.

It would be hella cool if you could gift IP/ IP gifts but it would have to be restricted to what is naturally purchasable with IP. They only thing about that though, it makes smurfing easier and it takes revenue from RIot.

While in theory I think it's great, but in reality it's just going to encourage more smurfs, which the game is already flooded with.
