Screw you Riot and your overpriced event Icons that were always meant to be available for IP.

I'm not spending 250 RP to Directly Unlock an Icon, and I'm not spending 490 RR to gift a random skin to one of my friends that they'll probably never use - especially when these Icons are usually unlock-able through Event Activities or purchase-able for IP for a specified amount of time. I think it's disgusting that Riot have gone back on their word.

Instead, I'm going to spend my precious RP that I probably only purchase 3 or 4 times a year on HeartSeeker Varus, Firecracker Jinx, Marauder Ashe, Warden Sivir and maybe one of the Champions in the bi-weekly sale.

Enjoy Chinese New Year and a (belated) Happy Valentines Day... if you have any RP that is.

EDIT: And thanks for putting skins from previous years that I purchased at full price into bundles at a 25% discount.

1: What makes you think special icons were "meant" to be free? Pretty sure Riot is the one who makes and decides how to make them available.

2: Random skins are cheap because it's a gamble. Is that not obvious? When you gamble sometimes you lose, sometimes you win big.

3: You're going to buy discount skins? Well good for you. That is just good sense, you aren't special or different for doing so. Sales promote buying skins when you normally wouldn't, so you're just falling for a good marketing scheme.
