Do you guys still enjoy playing this game?

Cuz everyday I play this game I start to enjoy it a little less.

Ranked is stressful as hell, and the fact that you can get screwed by simple things such as an AFK or someone that can only play one role and trolls when they dont get said role. Or the amount of toxic champs that, even if you know how to play against them, are still hell to play against (Riven/Vayne/Kayle/Shy/Trynda).

And normal is also not that fun anymore, I see more and more people taking normals wayyy to serious, and raging over nothing (I like Bard OK? If I dont tell you anything for playing Kass, then dont bother me).

Plus every time I see a new change announced I'm afraid, because I've lost faith in Riot to properly balance this game. They either release items without actually testing them (Cinder/RG/Dev) and then we have to deal with constant spamming of idiotic dmg. And the champs, dear god the champs, especially supports. Bard is considered a troll pick, and Tahm, I think people dont even know it exists, and thank god they dont with that stupid W (I love playing him, but is so dumb how strong that skill is)

Honestly ARAM is the only place where you can actually have fun.

Worst part is that I still keep playing this game cuz A) I've invested too much time to let go now B) I still enjoy SOME games (win or lose) and C) There isnt any other good FTP game out there, at least for me.

I was going to make a post very similar to this a couple of weeks ago when I stopped playing very much. I went from playing a couple of ranked games a day at least to not playing league at all in like the last week, and when I did play before I stopped it was mostly normals.

Ranked is not fun at all anymore, I used to have fun in ranked because I knew that if i played well enough I could snowball the game and carry even if my team wasn't very good. After all the changes to snowballing to make it much weaker and the tank meta the game has gotten to be almost impossible to solo carry, which is good for players who are sick of one person deciding the game but bad for players (like me) who would rather there be someone on the other team solo carry for the chance for me to do that same for my team. Now I feel like most of one team does poorly while the other team all does well which leads to very one sided games which aren't fun in victory or defeat. And that is not even talking about AFk's and Trolls.

Normal games have also gotten less fun due to people taking it way too seriously. It is very annoying to see my team mates rage at others for doing poorly in a normal game. Normals are meant for players to test out new things and have a less intense experience yet people are just as toxic as they are in ranked.

I have played this game for a while now and that is one of the reasons I stay as well, just because I have already invested the time. I have however been looking at other games trying to find something that seems more interesting, have even considered the game who shall not be named (Dota) just because it seems like it would be more fun having every champ be extremely strong in their own ways rather than seeing the same champion every game in League.

I feel that long time players are growing more and more tired of the game and I hope Riot does something to try to fix this because I have had fun with league and want to keep having fun with it if I can, it is just getting less and less enjoyable for me.

5 years in and i still enjoy it. Some days i dont like it as much as others but most days i have a ton of fun playing mostly

You will get downvoted by the blind masses, but you are correct.

Unless you're playing with 4 close friends, there's honestly no real fun to be had in this game. People play it only because it's stimulating and for the rewarding validation that comes with winning, even though they rarely actually have a good time doing it.

Lately, i've just been farming ip so i can have a bigger champion pool during the featured game modes. The hilarity that will be tahm kench One For All is a big motivating factor for me to continue playing. It's more fun with friends, and the 2 guys i could consistently play with have started playing HotS

The thing is, Riot generally fine tunes the game for Ranked 5v5, so #SoloQproblems are probably just issues we have to deal with because it's just the cherry on top.

You know, it is funny, because I see a lot of people say stuff like this, but for me, I have been playing this game since mid-season 1, and I still love the game like when i first started.

Sure ranked can be stressful, and admittedly trolls and ragers can ruin games. But more often then not, I end a game glad I played it. And the game is never stale to me, because of the constant influx of new items, champs, game modes, whatever.

I can understand people who get tired of league after a long time. But for me at least, I have played league almost exclusively for several years, and I still love it.

I enjoy the competition. It's a lot of fun xD Yah it can be frustrating at times but I've raged harder over the k.rool fight in donkey kong country... (snes)

Just because a game frustrates you doesn't make it any less fun. You go back for the challenge and the gameplay. Saying people are blind masses because they actually enjoy the game is overstepping. (This isn't directed at the op)

While Riot certainly makes mistakes, especially in balance, they do release awesomeness such as Bard

I still love the game, even tho their are lots of bad games those great games where you carry in ranked just reel me back in. I wish riot would focus more time buffing weaker champs I think right now most of the op picks are easier to ban viktor vayne shyvana for me. But I hate how lots of champs like sona get locked in on my team and im just waiting for the feed.

Ways to have more fun in lol

-realize even in ranked the worst that can happen is an mmr drop. In the grand scheme of your life, this, for the average player, means little

-use the mute button

-get some friends

-its a game

Its why I like team builder. I get to play the champs I want to play and have fun.
