All you have to do is play one game, and pick fill as your choice, for your next game autofill will be disabled, and you will get one of your two selected roles. I welcome the downvotes of the people who will get mad that they still have to fill once before it will be disabled.
VoraciousX2 votesSo basically that's an un-fun fact. You have to play one miserable game before you're allowed to play one un-miserable game(which could still be potentially be miserable). I'd rather just reset queue constantly like I do now to avoid it altogether.
Who is Taliyah3 votesIf you think a bit out of the box, you will see how useful it is if you plan on climbing in ranked. Play one normal game as fill then get autofill protected in your next game, play ranked and be autofill protected, afterwards go into another normal game as fill and repeat. Yes, it might take more time to climb, but it would take less ranked games to climb.

DrCyanide1 votesJust checked it, you can queue as Fill for Normal Draft and but won't have Auto Fill protection for Ranked Solo/Duo nor Ranked Flex. It only provides immunity for Normal Draft.

Terozu1 votesIt... doesn't actually say autofill protected... it says since you have recently filled or played support you will get one of your two selected roles. also you say you just checked iut but that implies you played 2 games in under 40 minutes, which, while not impossible is very unlikely...
DrCyanide1 votesI played 1 game in 37 minutes,and queued up for another but didn't play it then. And yes "Autofill Protected" was literally what it said in the queue.
Danjeng2 votesYou can also disable autofill by autofilling. If someone wanted to avoid being filled, why would they actively choose fill? Your logic is fill to avoid being filled. But you would already get autofill protection if you got autofilled anyway. Unless you were joking.
