I play mostly Draft and Team Builder and I find that just typing out a list of your preffered roles in order of strength goes a long way in getting the role I want. I also don't play thing game to play a certain champ or role because I find that just sets me up for disappointment. It may be super fun to play jungle Yi all the time, but sometimes it is more fun to take Vi or Nid and win with a better team comp than lose with the champ I wanted.

I would just play draft mode. Usually the synopsis there is Pick order > Call order. may not work to your benefit but its an option?
