You shut her down you deny her farm but oh well she gets 2 items and she suddently goes from a feeding trash to an unstopable force. because you know high skillcap champ

I always thought they gray summoners rift was more artistic
I recently played a game as Vel'Koz where I was very fed off of an incompetent Talon and Rengar. She R-Tumbled towards me and crit me for 2110 damage. It was disgustingly unfair and unfun.
Even if she doesn't manage to kill you instantly, she gets uncounterable invisibility and her tumble has such a low cooldown it doesn't matter. Playing vs Vayne vs anyone without the mobility to keep up with her, multiple hard crowd controls, and the damage to finish her off quickly (read, no one) is utter hell and zero fun for anyone but the smug Vayne player who thinks it takes kiill to click you.

I absolutely agree! I love how much depth and outplay her kit enables to the opposing target. She tumbles, then right clicks on my champion's model, which is also moving. Amazing. Truly a display of superior skill. As my screen turns gray, I can only applaud and say:
Look at the rightclicks, look at the moves... Faker what was that?!?!
