Conspiracy Thoery: Matchmaking effected by Reports/Honors

Alright so before you just treat this as yet another al(illao)ian conspiracy theory, hear me out. MMR is one factor that goes into determining what team you will be placed on. Let's be real though, Riot has the tech to know exactly what roles you excel at, champs you are good at, and so many other factors. There is no way that your simple win loss record is the only thing they have access to. What if they use all of this information, including reports/honors, to determine what team to put you on. If you are rated as highly toxic then maybe they want to keep you down. If you are honored for being the best team player, maybe they want to boost you up by giving you good teammates. I know it sounds crazy, but why not? Do they really want the most toxic of the bunch making it to challenger? This may not be a convincing argument, but I've noticed from personal experience that when I don't care about ranking up i tend to get a ton of honors and rank up super fast, and when I care about ranking up and get angry at my teamates 9thus reports) all of a sudden I get the worst teams humanly possible. It is possible that they use other factors other than just pure skill. Pure skill of course is a factor, but there is no evidence that anything else goes into there matchmaking system, as far as i know.

You should try making a smurf account. That's the closest you're going to get to being matchmade by toxicity level. A bunch of angry perma-banned kids every game. The trash talk down there is just disgusting. The sad part is that sometimes you'll get a new player that thinks it's normal to rage at everyone for making a mistake. I seriously had to block someone every game.

Being stuck on that account for 2 weeks really put how great the normal matchmaking is into perspective.
