Thank you for putting a 0/12 Yi in my promos. Thank you for putting a 0/6 Kha in the same team too. Thank you for also making me get matched with a guy that went support Wukong in my promos. All so i can shit over Zed with Veigar and still lose a game that i deserved to win. Thank you for putting a "plat" Volibear smurf in my other promo who didn't know how to tank and kept soloing.

Thank you for not realizing the current ranked system is a piece of shit and that elo is not a good way to rank a TEAM game.

Make it so your score per game is compared to average score for that champion. That way you can still get points. More points if you win of course. Refusing to fight to keep a KDA would be punishable.

So, to promote consistently solid team-play, you suggest that we reward individual ability?

Solo queue is NOTHING about team play. If you want team play, go play ranked 5v5. People in this game only care about their own ranking and skill.

For someone who wants to emphasize the team aspect of League, rewarding solo play seems contradictory.

And counter-productive.

The simple fact is, there's only so far up the ladder that a solo mindset can take you. Learning to work with the rest of your team - whether you like them or not - is a hugely important skill, and I believe it's one of the key skills that tends to hold players back.

I didn't mean team as "Teamwork most important skill yadayadayada" i meant as in, you are dependent on team to win. It doesn't matter if you go 20/0, if your team is shit you will still lose.

And i CAN work with a team. The problem is the 0/10 yi and 0/6 Kha surely aren't willing too

I know it sounds hard to rank up when all of these things happen. But if you didn't win you need to realize why. Clearly you didn't contribute enough to moving your entire team forward, and focused on either solo farming or solo killing. Being in Gold, Platinum and even in Challenger means that you need to be able to control the entire game to a certain degree. You may get bad players, but realize there's always something you can work on to do better next time!
