The community has gotten to a point where even the "nice" players are completely toxic, and they don't even realize it.

It used to be the community was toxic and garbage because of people flaming and insulting their teammates, now it's the point where if you say ANYTHING negative, you're insulted and flammed for being "salty", and they think they are in the complete right, and fighting the "toxic players" of league by doing so..

This happens every time I voice any dis like for something, or disappointment. Just last game, I got yet another afker. That being my 3rd afk out of 4 games. I started to get ticked I can't get a proper game. I voiced my displeasure in chat with "Wow another Afk, isn't that typical".

Immediately then another teammate afks. At this point it's a 3v5, and our support starts getting FPS drops, so its essentially a 2v5 now.

I voice my disapleasure once again "Can you please just push, we have 2 afks, and our supports FPS is dropping all the time, I'll be in base to let you push".

Immediately, again, I get flammed and insulted.

"You're so salty"

"You're salty, you're complaining about afks and you're going to do it?"

Really??

It's a 2v5, and there's no point in playing that match. I figured it'd be nice to let the other team push so we could all get into a proper match, but apparently me wanting a fair match for both players is being a "salty toxic player".

This is the typical mentality for players in league. The moment anyone voices any displeasure or annoyances towards something, they are immediately fair game for anyone to start insulting and bashing them for being "salty" and it's perfectly ok by the rest of the community...

You know in the end as much as you may hate doing this, Be the bigger person. Works fine for me. Once you don't let them annoy you and you stay calm every thing is so much easier. Anyone who's being "rude", their argument just goes invalid immediately. For example Last night I was posting on the meme & games board and someone didn't like what I posted for what ever reason and basically told me that I wasn't entitled to making people laugh, and went on to tell me That I was probably offended by them being rude. My reply was simply that I didn't understand why they were being rude, my humor may not be to their taste and that if i offended them in anyway I didn't mean to and I apologized if I did. I'll link you the thread... their arguments just went invalid. Plus don't forget that there is a "Mute" button. If you ever feel attacked for any reason by a player or players, you have the right to mute them. I know it may be hard but it can't hurt to try.
