Ability Tooltips

It'd be nice if the tooltip writers stopped trying to be short story authors. If your employees are so inclined toward flowery writing, why not direct them towards the lore instead of the tooltips.

Take Jhin's ult for example. The first block will be the unchanged text of the tooltip, and the second will be edited for brevity and clarity.

First Cast: Jhin channels for 10 seconds and fully assembles his weapon before taking aim in the target direction, revealing all Caught Out units in a huge area and gaining the ability to reactivate Curtain Call up to four times. If cancelled early, Curtain Call's cooldown is reduced by 10% per unused shot.

Second Cast: Jhin fires a round in the target direction that stops on the first enemy champion hit, dealing physical damage to all units hit and slowing them by 80% for 0.75 seconds.

Curtain Call's damage is increased by 2% for every 1% of the target's missing health, and the final shot critically strikes (without Every Moment Matters' crit. penalty).

First Cast: Jhin channels for 10 seconds, revealing all units in a cone and readying 4 shots. If cancelled early, Curtain Call's cooldown is reduced by 10% per unused shot.

Second Cast: Jhin fires towards the cursor, granting vision along the shot's flight path. Each shot stops on the first enemy champion hit, dealing physical damage and slowing by 80% for 0.75 seconds.

Curtain Call's damage is increased by 2% for every 1% of the target's missing health, and the final shot critically strikes (without Every Moment Matters' crit. penalty).

Note that the second, edited version gives you more information in a shorter format. This is what tooltips are designed to do. If a story needs to be told, tell it in the lore tab.
