I know being the bearer of bad news sucks. The more you try to do the right thing and communicate, the more players lash out at you. I wanted to make this thread as a counterbalance to that.
Many of us are unhappy with some of the decision you've made in the past or recently, but we all appreciate your communication, even if most of us don't take the time to say it.
Most of the people who AREN'T lashing out are excited for the new update. I mean, come on, PET DRAGON? How awesome is that?!
...Though I would prefer if skarner's Q got some of the attack speed stacking back... I don't like it being tied into a rock that can be taken by enemies.
I absolutely wanted to shake my monitor with the echoes of "what?!" in my room at least twice, but I came out of it feeling a sense of:
"well at least they are finally treating us like people and telling us what is up."
Too often over the years we don't find out about most things until the very last minute, or after they have happened and are being informed. As frustrating as likely never getting replays is now, I'm glad they are at least being straight up with us about it finally.
Aside from the Sandbox reasoning being the biggest takeaway the community currently is having, the Riot Pls post brought up the fact that the new client is coming soon. I feel like that is one thing to anticipate in the coming season.
