What is the point in using chat at all? It's becoming more and more beneficial to just mute all every game because the benefit of communication doesn't outweigh the risk of punishment. It's just too much of a liability to use anymore, so i just wont be using the feature from here on out.

I just wished they made a harsher system for the trolls that are the reason for the toxicity in the game.
I always wanted an ability to turn off the chat completely. But why would Riot care about that? They didn't even bother to make chat background save between sessions. I'm fucking tired of adjusting the goddamn transparency every freaking match and every freaking reconnection.

You use your chat for game objectives. Not to fight with your allies or enemy. It's that simple.
Edit: Good examples of use of chat: "Good work Ashe!" "Coming to gank top" "Dragon is coming up in 30 seconds, can someone ward it?" Bad examples of use of chat: "Fuck you Ashe!" "0 ganks top lane, worst jungler NA." "Only supports ward, you idiot."
I agree. remove chat its more a curse than a blessing.
