Understanding 25% Base AD on sterak's
Can somebody tell me how this is calculated on a champion? I don't completely understand.

Take the ad value they would have with no items, runes or masteries. That is the base ad. Sterrak's increases it by 25%.
It's a bonus 25% of that champion's base AD. Base AD is a champion's default AD value. So it's what they would have if you didn't have any from runes, masteries, or items.
basically Sterak counts the base AD that a champion get's from his level and raises that base by 25%.
Let's take
at lvl 13 for example (just because he got 100 base AD at that point)
Whith steraks he gets 25 base AD and another 25 when active. Any AD from items or runes doesn't matter.
That also means if he has
and
he goes from 200 damage to 250 damage on next attack. (300 when active)
basially that's it(I think Spellblades are the only items that use base AD, actually don't know a champion abilty that does)
Alright, if you look at a champions wiki page, say, Garen
for example. His** base attack stat** is 58. And then increases to 134 as he level up to a max of lvl 18.
Now Since his base attack stat is innate to the champion, it cannot be changed (Masteries, Runes, etc.) Bonus attack items such as B.F. Sword do not count towards this as they are in fact, bonus. Now since Steraks Gage
scales with base AD; At lvl 18 it would have a bonus of 34, despite items such as B.F. Sword.
