GP Death theory

Gangplank died on the same day that the new gamemode, Black Market Brawlers was released. This mode uses Blind Pick in champion select. Gangplank's cannon is called Death's Daughter. He sends it into the ocean not long before dying himself at the hands of Miss Fortune. However, the reworked Gangplank can buy the Death's Daughter cannon upgrade in-game, using Silver Serpents.

What else is silver? Quicksilver Sash. Looking at the icon , you can see that the QSS resembles a blindfold.

Gangplank died in the ocean. What is the aquatic counterpart to serpents? Eels. "Eel" spelt backwards is "Lee". My theory is that Gangplank escaped from the burning ship, but was blinded in the process. After seeking help from Zilean and Tahm Kench he was sent back in time and ferried to Ionia, where he carved out a new identity for himself as Lee Sin, the Blind Monk.
