What is the purpose of Champ Permanent?
Riot, why can you craft a champion permanent? If you already own the champion, why even make an option to craft the champion shard into a permanent that does nothing for you? This is just overly confusing.

THe only purpose I have found was to use it to get rank 6 or rank 7 mastery on that champion without the cost of blue essence
Yeah, I don't get it either. Same with me owning a skin and getting the same skin in another box. At least lower the drop rate of skins you own. Maybe if it's a 1% chance you can get any skin, make it a 0.5% chance to get skins you own. Sure, I can reroll it hoping to get a skin for a champ I play, but considering the shards I get are for champs I don't play, what are the odds of it rerolling into a skin for a champ I want.
