Excellent question. And one that if we come up with an answer too will make us incredible at winning any game. My first thought is to tell people to stay near the turret and only farm under turret. "play defensive" isnt enough, you have to tell them "stay under turret unless they're going to dive then abandon the turret before you die" The first gameplay step would be to back right away and buy some items and heal, then give up your OWN lane in exchange for preventing them from falling behind any more in their lanes. Its okay to lose 5 turrets as long as you are farming up and holding at least one lane. If you can hold your own lane vs more than 1 opponent then ask your support to go zone their lanes out and then you obviously have to tell them how to position themselves and how to only last hit minions in order to "zone out" enemies from gold and experience. Once you've created a significant level difference between you and them you can go start getting your pentas. Rally with your troops and make sure they follow you into battle. You can always buy tons of movement speed and just make the enemy waste time while chasing you around the jungle, allowing your team to finally take their lane turret! Wouldn't it be nice if people listened though? I know what its like to get killed twice in a row by your lane then find out that some champs only need 2 kills to be able to dive under turret and kill you with full hp instantly. cough zed
