To be honest I didn't even really know how this event worked or how well it was going. They should of put a meter or something on the home page that showed how many points we were at and it could of showed each thing we were working towards on the meter. I'm sorry riot but I think you could of done a better job with this event, I really wanted those pool party minions :(

We did unlock the pool party minions. They'll be present starting wednesday after the patch.
It's kind of two events. Team Up Week determined the rewards they roll out during the Pool Party patch, which is coming up in a bit.

All of that stuff was right here http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/page/features/team-up-pool-party It said clearly at the top that points week (aka Team Up week) was "June 15-21" which was this past week. Now we are on the Pool Party week (aka patch 5.12) which will hit tomorrow and they will slowly begin to release the rewards from the past week.
They did a really bad job of advertising it. A lot of people didn't know it started until a bit in. They should have had more adverts if they wanted to give us a chance at getting it. Also I find it silly they wouldn't give points for playing with pool party skins (As they did with the poro king event)
