Stop Using Acronyms!

This community needs to learn to say the names of the items suppose to saying it in acronyms and also assuming everyone know what you are talking about, it isn't that hard nor takes that long to type the name out, but for the longer names like Blade of the Ruined King you better off with calling it 'blade' or 'blade king' - Youmuu's Ghostblade can just be 'ghostblade' but constantly using things like 'ss' is garbage as this can be for missing, statikk shiv, sightstone, etc. 'botrk' is also a dumb acronym- condensing may be fine or using a different name that makes sense like for Rabadon's Deathcap could be 'cap' 'deathcap' 'ap hat' 'death hat' etc. Anyways, end of my rant, just need to say that you do not need to use acronyms in your speech when typing on the internet and you can use just shortened versions of the name or use something the item is like, for example I like calling Mikael's Crucible 'chalice bell' cause it looks like and builds from a chalice and looks like a bell and it makes a bell sound when you use it...

As long as people get what they are trying to say, it's fine. If it does confuse someone, the person should ask, but use common sense. (A support should know that building a ss would be a sightstone and not a statikk shiv, and the reverse would apply to ADCs)

Acronyms are a very quick way to get across something specific since you really don't have that much time to type. Shortened versions of items work, but acronyms usually save the most time.

And why is botrk a dumb acronym when it is unique and most people know it?

Do you have some kind of mental issue? Who the hell looks at Blade of the Ruined King, and doesn´t understand botrk. I mean, if you don´t get the call-out, then you don´t know enough about the game and should be more focused on learning all the names.

Furthermore; context. SS can mean static shiv or mia? Uhm, no. One does not say: ¨Get SS!¨ when referring to an mia, they just say SS and ping. If someone is TELLING you to get SS there´s a limited number of items it can be. Figure it out. Also, you´re point is incredibly stupid when you suggest ¨Chalice Bell.¨ Chalice IS the call out; the bell part is redundant. However, calling items on appearance is idiotic in itself, items appear different to different people.

Or... you could get off your pedestal and realize that to communicate effectively with people in certain communities you should try to learn the popular jargon. It's actually a common thing in many communities to have jargon and it's rather pompous to say that everyone who is already using the popular system of jargon which most people already understand should ditch it and conform to your system.
