The Reason Supports Are Looked Down Upon

Ally chat: Hey man. I hope you listen to me when I tell you to get out of my lane because I need absolutely 0 help. But when you don't listen why are you asking them to report me and asking why I have no stacks? when you take all the farm I am somehow suppose to stack.

All chat: Support main (AKA dumbest position in game): Nasus you are getting reported for being toxic. That's it.

Support main logic: Take all of nasus's stacks even though he asked you not to in a lane that is across the entire map. Then say report nasus for not having any stacks. Then say him not having any stacks is toxic. The worst part is that nasus said only one thing in chat: It was to get out of his lane.

Supports are very nonintellectual individuals. They tend to play champions such as Blitzcrank or Leona and brag about how much "skill" it takes to play support. In reality it is literally ward. cc. have team do the rest.

If supports do not want to be looked down upon. Don't brag.

You had a bad support so decide to mouth off to all support mains? That says nothing about supports, and a lot about you.

Edit: I checked the match; the support had 10 CS. QQ more.

Nasus (him): 4/8/9 - 130 CS Support: 1/7/21 - 10 CS

Ya. The support really took so much CS from you, and your score was awesome because you needed no help. Ignore the lowest score on the team.

eeeh that sounds overgeneralized. imo support is about the same as everyone else in the skill department only it takes you hoping your teammates follow up since you have next to no ability to kill anyone yourself unless you go full damage support, tanky supports need your team to follow you while you protect your teammates with cc and meatshields, utility supports require you to time your cc and support powers for max effectiveness, adc needs super good positioning, jungle needs good map awareness and such, all of them require you knowing your champion, only difference I see between them is adc doesn't need to know how to ward as much and support doesn't need to know how to farm as much, it's all know your champion and what they do, jungler is a different game from lane entirely but that doesn't make it harder

TLDR all the roles are important and different but not harder so don't hate the role hate the people who make playing your role terrible, support adc and jungler get the most team interaction during lane phase and get most flak because of it is why people tend to complain I believe, hate the players not what they are playing.

ok then i'll stop poking the enemy in lane, keeping them off you so you can farm, protecting you in teamfights, tanking the wave so it freezes in your favor, predicting when enemy harass is coming to shield you from it, healing you after you take poke because you didn't dodge that skillshot, helping to focus down towers, keeping an eye on dragon timers, taking that harass that was about to kill you, chasing their support out of the lane bushes, granting you buffs/auras from items that we somehow buy with all that money we make, actually helping when our jungler ganks instead of standing there farming, peeling for you (sometimes with my life) when we get ganked, ...

just because our play can't be measured in a binary way (we got lots of kills+farm or we didn't) doesn't mean we aren't helping. don't bash your support just because you don't understand what they do.

ADC logic: ADC got fed? adc is god player who deserves to be challenger! ADC didn't get fed? no support help! i cant carry all this weight!

As a support main, if my adc says they don't need me, I'll leave as soon as laning ends, and go buff someone else.

I don't believe that support mains are any different from other mains. The problem is that the entire culture of League encourages infuriating behavior, so you should not expect all support mains to be chill guys.

However, I still hold support mains in a higher regard than other mains since they play a role that is unpopular but necessary in any team composition.

You sir are the unintelligent one because you need another player to place wards for you when it only takes pushing a single key and you like to base one person on a very large group of people. Go back to ferguson Missouri and leave us supports alone
