Riot about reports

Right now you get reported for nothing in almost every game!

Oh you are 0-5? reported

Oh you dont help me when i got caught? Reported

Oh i am an enemy and i am mad because i lost? Reported

Oh i dont like you in general? Reported

And Before someone say "Oh well you need a big numbers of reports in order to get banned"

Lets face it right now if you lost a game someone is gonna get reported for no reason

And then fake reports start to stack and one day you are just mad with the world because your gf brake up with you or because you mad because something happen at school or in a job you play a game and you have a person trash talking and because you are way to mad in general you start respond to this person

So what happen? you will get banned because of the fake reports and that ONE DAY report and when you ask why you get banned lyte will just show this one case and nothing more and he will say "Well you seE? our system is good" NO its not you know it i know it everybody know it The report system bring more toxicity in the game rather than reducing it

Because before the report system the games were simple "Ok you lost lane what ever" only in extreme situations someone were saying "Omg you deserve report"

Now after the report system "Oh you are 0-2? yeah reported for feeding i dont care reported"

"Oh you say gg?" reported

"Oh you hit one minion and you are support? yeah reported i am afk report the support"

THIS IS WHAT THE 90% of the games right now

So yeah GJ lyte and your report system yeah i am salty but i am tired to enter a game and seeing the half chat being treats about report

And if you say more than 2 words in the chat you get chat restricted and banned

What an amazing game..

I'm sorry you've been having a bad time recently, did you just recently get banned or chat restricted or are you simply worried you're going to be with all these claims of reporting?

Keep in mind (at least from how I've come to understand the system) that the reports of people who report on the drop of a hat like count for far more less than people who actually report for legitimate reasons.

No i didnt get banned i have got chat restricted in the pass but this is not the point its not about me its about general every game you play or you see on streams or if you watch some player from your friend list when you read the chat its full with report threats! This is disgusting you play a game and everyone say report to other..And this somehow reduce the toxicity? i fail to see how! Plus in order the reports to stop being important if you spam reports for no reason you need to have more than 1000 fake reports so you know i can just 1000 report people for no reason lead them to ban and then my report will stop count as an important..Yeah what a perfect system huh? That my problem that the report system destroying this game right now rather than fixing it because like i say in season 1 before the report system NOBODY was saying "Oh reported because you are 0-2" Now go play a game go 0-2 in lane and watch the chat! And somehow according to lyte this "reduce" the toxicity...The lies that this person say its absurd or he just dont play the game or something and he just say random things..

I'll be honest I've rarely had that happen to me. I'm not saying you're wrong in your own experience, but my personal experience differs greatly.

Trust me I get it, you don't like the fact that people report for literally anything. So why don't we try to brainstorm some solutions? What would you propose to fix the problem you are pointing out?

Easy New report reason (You know in the little box that say the reasons Afk/verbal/etc?) Yeah they need to add one more "Report threat" and when someone getting reported for that reason the bans to be X2 more harsh than the normal one this will stop people to spam fake reports and to fill the chat with report threats! Easy solution..easy fix! And if someone spam this report when for no reason because this report is more important than the others and riot will view this cases the person who report someone for "Report threat" and that report is fake he will get banned for 14 days! A harsh system that will stop all the report abuse all the report threating and the game will become better but of course lyte is to blind to see the easy solution and he try with "Teambuilder/Honor system/Chat restrictions/Now perma bans more easy according to PBE news/etc And he dont do the easy solution..but what ever! I

What's to stop people from crying "report X for Y" and simply not reporting in the end?

And on the flipside, what's to stop people from just not saying anything and reporting someone for illegitimate reasons?

(I'm poking holes in an effort to refine the idea, I'm not trying to shut you down or anything)

If someone cry report in the chat the team will have the option to report him for "Report threat" as i say! So that will stop many people to cry in chat for reports!

If someone report for no reason we are back to what we have now But in the most cases if someone dosent spam in chat "Report report report report" In the end of thegame they dont report at all they just move on So if the system have an option that stop the "report X for Y" in the chat (Report threat) This will reduce the fake reports too! But if someone spamming again and again and again the report in the end of thegame he will report for something stupid but if cant spam it any more he will forget it he will just move on!

And for the small % that will remain silent and they will not make report threats but they will still report for not legit reason then the system we have now it will be enough

But if we dont stop the report threats the system we have now its not enough because simple the numbers of fake reports are massive and in every single game

My problem with this is that this is usually what happens in my experience, in the few times it does happen. People cry "report X for Y" and simply don't follow through because they're just inappropriately venting. In which case if it's often/aggressive enough on can simply report for harassment or verbal abuse, because there's no actual danger of "fake report flooding".

Now my biggest question is what would having a separate, more potent report option accomplish over simply increasing the reviewing of the current options? Right now the Tribunal is out because of upgrades and revamping, but wouldn't the tribunal reviews solve your problem as well? You have reviewed chat logs and fellow players validating and invalidating reports, and I doubt someone reporting for someone going 0-2 at the beginning of the game will garner much favor.

It will bring the game back to season 1 when no reports were on and nobody in the chat were screaming report! You know how good that days was? You know that the toxicity lvl was almost 0? Yeah i know that the game become bigger but from the moment the reports become a thing people abuse everyone in the game special if the game going bad with reports! So if there is an option "Report abuse" this toxicity and abuse will stop yeah the tribunal review cases and stuff but i am not talking only about cases who lead to bans i am talking for a better gameplay more healthy with no toxic players who abuse the report system! And trust me i play today 10 games in the 10 of them even when i win the 6 of them IN THE 10 OF THEM someone say to someone else 'Report him" not from my team only but i see enemies in all chat saying "Report bot because feeding" NO THERE WERE feeding i was the jungle and camp their lane But what the enemies say? 'Report bot lane" so what they do? they report the bot lane i dont report anyone but they doit so in 10 games i play i see this report abuse and threat so that why the "Report threat" need to be added as an option in the report box and the bans for this option to be 2x more harsh than the normal one
