I chose: Mid & Adc She chose: Adc & Support
First time the queue pops, I get ADC she gets support. Someone dodges she ends up adc and I get autofilled to support. Like honestly WTF is wrong with autofill, obviously it doesn't matter because we just switched roles, but still it forced me into autofill even when my girlfriend had support chose.
I'm in the same boat as you, everytime me and my GF want to play together, we end up having to play 3v3, or ARAM just so we can "lane" together.
I of course pick ADC/Mid, and she picks support/Mid, and it USUALLY works, however, like you stated, if someone dodges it just totally fucks it up and then auto fills one of us. Like i get top lane or something, and of course nobody in this community wants to trade their lanes, so then the whole reason we even wanted to play is instantly shot out of the water.
I hate auto-fill... There needs to be an OPT out of auto-fill button, as in, Yes i understand the queue will be longer, BUT I ALSO WANT THE DAMN LANE I PICK.
I'm perfectly fine with a longer queue if i get the role i want....
