Why is there no ping mute or limit?

I don't mean the 10s wait after 12891738912931 pings in 20 seconds. I mean 1-3 pings per 5 seconds,or maybe a long lasting ping,5 second duration or so? Honestly how many attention pings shall be spammed? ~~how many mias will my team give?~~

3 pings should be the minimum limit. I usually won't notice just the one ping, and I know I'm not alone in this. When someone pings 2-3 times I usually get the message.
